Photovoltaics
Photovoltaics is a technology that converts light directly into electricity. Building-integrated photovoltaics is increasingly incorporated into new domestic and industrial buildings as a principal or ancillary source of electrical power, and is one of the fastest growing segments of the photovoltaic industry. Typically, the photovoltaic panels can be mounted at a fixed angle facing south, or they can be mounted on a tracking device that follows the sun, allowing them to capture the most sunlight over the course of a day. The panels can be connected with the grid electricity and used to absorb the solar energy. The solar energy is then converted into electricity and supply to the buildings.
